
Multan Sultans gave a small target of just 109 runs, which Peshawar Zalmi chased down easily in only 13 overs, losing just 3 wickets.
For Peshawar, Saim Ayub played an impressive knock, scoring 49 runs. Max Bryant added 38, while Mohammad Haris remained not out with 7 runs. Mitchell Owen scored 1 run, and captain Babar Azam was out after scoring 8.
Earlier, at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, Multan Sultans won the toss and chose to bat first, but things didn’t go as planned. Their entire team was out before completing 20 overs – all players were dismissed by the first ball of the 19th over.
From Multan, Shai Hope was the top scorer with 23 runs. Tayyab Tahir scored 22, captain Mohammad Rizwan 17, Mohammad Hasnain 11, and Yasir Khan 10. Six players couldn’t even reach double figures.
Mohammad Amir Barki scored 3, Shahid Aziz 1, David Willey 8, Ubaid Shah 3, and Ashton Turner got out without scoring. Faisal Akram stayed not out with 4 runs.
Peshawar’s bowlers dominated the game. Ahmed Daniyal took 3 wickets, Muazz Sadaqat and Luke Wood took 2 each, while Alzarri Joseph, Saim Ayub, and Ali Raza took 1 wicket each.
