All-rounder Shadab Khan, who suffered from a shoulder injury, underwent surgery on his shoulder in the UK in July, due to which he was unable to participate in the series against Bangladesh and is now not part of the team for the tour of the West Indies.

The Asia Cup T20 will be held in the United Arab Emirates from September 9 to 28, while Shadab Khan needs at least 3 months to fully recover after surgery, thus Shadab will be fully fit by October.
The PCB has not yet made any announcement about the position or replacement of the national team s vice-captain.
Pakistan will play its first match in the Asia Cup against Oman on September 12, while the Pakistan-India match is scheduled for September 14.
