LAHORE (Web Desk): The Asian Cricket Council has officially announced the full schedule for the Asia Cup 2025, which is set to take place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from September 9 to September 28.

This year s tournament will be played in the T20 format, and cricket fans can look forward to as many as three thrilling clashes between arch-rivals Pakistan and India.

According to the schedule, India and Pakistan have been placed in Group A alongside Oman and UAE. It’s no surprise that the two traditional powerhouses are in the same group—matches between the two countries are known to generate the highest global viewership and revenue in world cricket.

The first high-voltage encounter between Pakistan and India will be held on September 14 in the group stage—already being anticipated as one of the marquee events of the tournament.

The top two teams from each group will qualify for the Super Four stage as per the tournament format. There each team will face the others once. Fans will witness a second showdown between the two sides. If both India and Pakistan qualify.

And if both teams go on to win their Super Four matches and reach the final, we could be treated to a third and final epic clash between them—making it potentially three blockbuster India-Pakistan matches in one tournament.

Cricket fans, especially in South Asia, are buzzing with excitement. Many have said that these potential matchups would be no less than a festival. Given that the tournament is in the T20 format this time, the level of excitement and intensity is expected to be even higher.
