
Following Najmul Hossain Shanto s decision to step down from captaincy earlier this year, the BCB has officially handed over leadership of the T20 side to Litton Das, who has previously captained the team on occasion.
He will now lead the squad during the tours of the UAE and Pakistan as the team’s full-time skipper.
Off-spinner Mehidy Hasan has been appointed vice-captain and is expected to play a key supporting role during the tour.
The full squad includes Litton Das (captain), Tanzid Hasan, Parvez Hossain, Soumya Sarkar, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Towhid Hridoy, Shamim Hossain, Zakir Ali, Rishad Hossain, Mehidy Hasan (vice-captain), Tanvir Islam, Mustafizur Rahman, Hasan Mahmud, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Nahid Rana, and Sharif Islam.
According to the BCB, the team will first play a short series in the UAE before heading to Pakistan from May 25 to June 3 for a five-match T20I series.

This series is seen as crucial preparation for Bangladesh ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup, offering a valuable opportunity to test themselves against a top-tier side. On the other hand, Pakistani playing XI is expected to deliver a strong statement on home turf.
Earlier, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) released the schedule for the upcoming T20 International series against Bangladesh.
