
According to the schedule shared by the PCB, the two teams will face off in a five-match T20I series. The decision has been made as part of preparations for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2025.
Initially, the series was set to include three ODIs and three T20Is. However, in a joint decision, the cricket boards of both countries agreed to replace the ODIs with two additional T20 Internationals to provide players with more exposure to the shorter format ahead of the World Cup, the PCB stated in its official release.

The revised schedule shows that the series will kick off in Faisalabad on May 25, with the first two matches to be played on May 25 and 27. The remaining three matches will be held at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on May 30, June 1, and June 3. All matches are scheduled to start at 8:00 PM local time.

Notably, Faisalabad will be hosting international cricket after a 17-year hiatus, last having done so in 2008. The announcement has sparked excitement among local cricket fans.
