Babar Azam, former Pakistani captain, has again claimed the No. 1 position in the latest ranking of Men’s ODI, released by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
The cricket star returned to the top spot after a knocking performance, retaining his position as one of the world s premier batsmen.
In the ICC’s rankings, Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, and Virat Kohli from India occupy the second, third, and fourth spots respectively. Ireland s Harry Tector rounds off the top five.
Meanwhile, in the bowling rankings, Shaheen Afridi has slipped one place and settled at 2. The other Pakistani bowler is currently in the top 10, with Haris Rauf dropping two places to No 15. In the latest ODI bowlers’ rankings, Rashid Khan of Afghanistan remains at the top spot.
After his excellent unbeaten century against Zimbabwe, Pakistan’s Saim Ayub has dropped to the top 100 ODI batsmen by reaching the 90th position.
In ICC’s T20 batting rankings, Australia’s Travis Head claims the top position. England’s Phil Salt stood at second and India’s Tilak Verma claimed third spot. Meanwhile, England’s Adil Rashid tops the T20 bowlers’ rankings, followed by Sri Lanka’s Winandu Harsanga and Australia’s Adam Zampa in second and third place respectively.
