Weather forecast: temperatures cross 40°C as hot, dry conditions continue
Weather remains hot and dry
The Meteorological Department has predicted hot and dry weather across most parts of Balochistan.
Several areas of the province have recorded temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius, with Nokundi emerging as the hottest area.
According to the weather department, Quetta recorded a maximum temperature of 33 degrees Celsius, while Kalat remained cooler at 29 degrees.
Ziarat recorded the lowest temperature among the listed areas, with the maximum reaching 24 degrees Celsius.
Nokundi records highest temperature
The weather remained particularly hot in some parts of Balochistan.
Zhob recorded a maximum temperature of 33 degrees Celsius, while Sibi reached 38 degrees.
Turbat recorded a maximum temperature of 37 degrees Celsius.
Nokundi was the hottest area in the province, where the temperature climbed to 41 degrees Celsius.
The high temperature has increased concerns for people who need to spend time outdoors during the day.
Coastal areas also remain warm
The weather was also warm in Balochistan’s coastal areas.
Gwadar recorded a maximum temperature of 31 degrees Celsius, while Jiwani reached 32 degrees.
In Chaman, the maximum temperature was recorded at 32 degrees Celsius.
Although temperatures varied from one area to another, dry weather is expected to continue across most parts of the province.

Citizens advised to take precautions
The Meteorological Department has advised citizens to take precautions as hot and dry conditions continue.
People are advised to avoid unnecessary exposure to direct sunlight, especially during the hottest part of the day.
Experts have also advised people to drink enough water to avoid dehydration.
Those working outdoors should take extra care and try to remain in shaded or cooler places whenever possible.
What the forecast means
The latest Balochistan weather forecast shows that the province will continue to experience mostly dry conditions.
While some areas such as Ziarat are expected to remain relatively cooler, places including Nokundi and Sibi could experience much higher temperatures.
