Lahore weather today is expected to remain cloudy, with the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasting a 20% to 60% chance of rain in different parts of the city. The weather is likely to stay relatively pleasant despite warm and humid conditions.

According to the latest weather update, Lahore remained under a blanket of clouds during the morning, while intermittent sunshine is expected throughout the day. The current temperature was recorded at 31°C, with the mercury likely to rise to a maximum of 34°C later in the afternoon.

The PMD said humidity levels stand at 77%, making the weather feel warmer than the actual temperature. Winds are also blowing at a speed of 13 kilometres per hour, providing some relief from the humidity.

Cloudy skies to continue

Weather experts expect a mix of sunshine and clouds to dominate the city's skies throughout the day. Light to moderate rainfall may occur in some areas, although the intensity and timing could vary across Lahore.

Residents are advised to keep umbrellas or rain gear handy while travelling, as weather conditions may change quickly.

The ongoing monsoon season has brought frequent spells of rain to several parts of Punjab, including Lahore. These showers have helped reduce daytime temperatures but have also caused waterlogging and traffic congestion in low-lying areas after heavy downpours.
