Rain lashed several parts of the country on Friday, bringing pleasant weather to residents. Faisalabad recorded heavy rainfall in various areas, including Sheikhupura Road, Daewoo Road and Sargodha Road. Chiniot city and its surrounding areas also remained overcast, with light rain continuing since morning, lowering the temperature and bringing cool breezes.

Dust Storms And Rain Hit Southern Punjab

Weather suddenly changed in Kot Addu, where cold winds took over and a dust storm blanketed the area, hiding the sun behind clouds of dust.

Layyah also experienced rain accompanied by strong winds, while cities including Karor Lal Eson and Fatehpur received heavy downpours. In Bhakkar, rain made the weather pleasant but also caused several power feeders to trip.

Karachi Remains Hot And Humid

According to the Meteorology Department, Karachi continued to face hot and humid conditions, with the temperature recorded at 30°C. The city's minimum temperature stood at 27.5°C, while the maximum was expected to range between 33°C and 35°C. Southwesterly winds blew at 23 kilometers per hour, with humidity levels at 70%, keeping the mugginess intact. The department rated the city's air quality as satisfactory, with pollutant levels below 100 particulate matters.
