KARACHI (Web Desk): Sindh is likely to remain mostly dry during August, while Karachi may experience cloudy skies, humidity and occasional drizzle.

Karachi weather remains hot and humid

The Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted mostly hot and humid conditions across Sindh. The latest Karachi weather forecast suggests that widespread rain is unlikely in the coming days.

Some coastal areas and parts of Tharparkar may receive isolated drizzle. However, the overall Sindh weather pattern is expected to remain mostly dry.

In Karachi, cloudy and humid conditions are likely to continue over the next three days. The city may also receive light Karachi rain during the morning and night.

The maximum temperature is expected to remain between 32°C and 34°C.

Sindh may see limited monsoon activity

The latest Sindh weather forecast is consistent with PMD’s broader seasonal assessment.

The department had earlier forecast below-normal rainfall across Sindh during the June-August period. Temperatures are also expected to remain above normal, particularly in Sindh and southeastern Balochistan.

This means the province may not receive the widespread monsoon rainfall normally expected during this period.

For Karachi, the Karachi weather forecast points mainly toward humidity, cloud cover and occasional drizzle rather than heavy rainfall.

The limited Karachi monsoon activity could keep conditions uncomfortable for residents, particularly during the daytime.

Rain continues in other parts of Pakistan

Although Sindh is expected to remain relatively dry, monsoon activity is continuing in parts of northern and central Pakistan.

PMD’s national outlook has forecast further rain and thundershowers in several northern and central areas.

The uneven rainfall pattern means some parts of Pakistan could receive significant rain while Sindh continues to experience drier conditions.

For residents, the latest Sindh weather update means there may be little relief from humidity in the near term.

Dry conditions could affect agriculture

Extended dry conditions could put additional pressure on water resources in Sindh.

Farmers may also face concerns if below-normal rainfall continues. Crops such as rice, cotton, sugarcane and maize require sufficient water during the Kharif season.

The situation makes the Sindh weather forecast important not only for residents but also for the agricultural sector.

Authorities and residents should continue checking updated PMD forecasts because monsoon systems can change quickly.

What Karachi residents can expect

The current Karachi weather outlook suggests that cloudy skies and humidity will remain common.

Occasional Karachi rain may provide temporary relief, but it is not expected to develop into widespread rainfall under the current forecast.

The limited Karachi monsoon activity also means residents should not expect a major change in conditions unless a stronger weather system develops.
