The Meteorological Department has issued a fresh weather forecast for different parts of Pakistan. Lahore's weather is currently clear, but light rain is expected during the evening.

The temperature in Lahore was recorded at 30°C, while the maximum temperature may reach 35°C. The minimum is expected to remain around 27°C, with winds blowing at 10 kilometres per hour and humidity at 73%.

Karachi may receive drizzle

Karachi is expected to remain partly cloudy and humid, with drizzle possible at a few locations today. The city's temperature may reach 33°C, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 26°C.

Winds are blowing from the southwest at 7 kilometres per hour, while humidity stands at 77%. The city's air quality has been described as satisfactory.

Heavy rain forecast in Islamabad

The weather department has forecast heavy rain with thunderstorms in Islamabad today. The federal capital will remain partly cloudy throughout the day, while temperatures may rise from 25°C in the morning to 34°C during the day.

Winds of around 7 kilometres per hour are expected, with humidity remaining above 66%.

Rain likely in northern areas

Rain with thunderstorms is also expected in Kashmir and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Gilgit-Baltistan will remain partly cloudy, with rain possible at some locations.

The Provincial Disaster Management Authority has forecast rain across the country until September 5, prompting residents to remain alert as weather conditions could change quickly.
