The NDMA weather alert also covers Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where Chitral, Swat, Dir, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, Bannu and Waziristan are expected to receive rain and thunderstorm Pakistan conditions.
In Gilgit-Baltistan, including Skardu, Diamer, Astore and Hunza, officials have warned of possible glacier lake outburst floods due to continuous rainfall.
The flash flood warning Pakistan is particularly important for people living in mountainous regions.
Azad Jammu and Kashmir, including Muzaffarabad, Neelum Valley, Rawalakot, Bagh, Kotli and Mirpur, is also expected to receive rain accompanied by thunderstorms.

Sindh and Balochistan also likely to receive rain
The latest Pakistan rain forecast shows that parts of Balochistan, including Turbat, Kech, Awaran, Khuzdar and Zhob, may experience strong winds and rainfall.
In Sindh, Karachi, Sukkur, Larkana, Jacobabad, Khairpur and Ghotki are also expected to receive rain and thunderstorm Pakistan activity during the forecast period. Officials warned that heavy showers could temporarily disrupt traffic and daily activities.
NDMA advises people to stay prepared
The Pakistan weather alert has prompted the NDMA to direct all concerned departments to remain fully prepared for any emergency.
Rescue agencies have been asked to keep necessary arrangements in place to respond quickly if needed.
Authorities have advised citizens to avoid unnecessary travel during severe weather, stay away from flooded roads and streams, and follow official advisories.
