New monsoon spell to bring rain and storms across Pakistan

The maximum temperature in Lahore could reach 37°C, while the minimum temperature is likely to stay near 29°C.
The weather may remain uncomfortable during the daytime, particularly for people working or travelling outdoors.
The arrival of the monsoon spell in other areas could bring some changes, but rainfall will not necessarily occur across every part of Punjab.

Rain is likely in areas including Dir, Swat, Shangla, Buner, Kohistan, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Torghar, Haripur and South Waziristan.
Peshawar is expected to remain hot, with the temperature potentially reaching 37°C.
The combination of heat, humidity and isolated rainfall could create rapidly changing conditions in different parts of the province.
Residents in areas likely to receive thunderstorms should remain alert for strong winds and sudden weather changes.
