Officials have announced that 50% counters of NADRA will be specified exclusively for Women from 9 March to 13 March. Special help desks have been arranged to guide women through the registration process. These measures make it more accessible for first-time applicants and women lacking a birth certificate.
This campaign ensures every woman can obtain her legal ID, said a NADRA spokesperson. Authorities encourage women who have not registered or lost their CNICs to participate. Women CNIC without birth certificate registration ensures every woman can claim her rights and civic protections.
The drive also seeks to boost women’s registration across Pakistan. Officials are therefore urging families and communities to inform women about this opportunity. Having a CNIC is both a legal right and a civic responsibility.

Officials expect the campaign to significantly increase women’s registration. In addition, dedicated counters and staff assistance will help streamline the process, particularly for women who were previously unable to register. CNIC registration for women without a birth certificate will also enable them to access social protection programs across the country.
Women are encouraged to visit their nearest NADRA office between 9 and 13 March to benefit from the special campaign. The initiative also reflects Pakistan’s commitment to women’s empowerment, legal inclusion, and active civic participation.
