SBP releases latest Roshan Digital Account statistics
(Web Desk): State Bank of Pakistan reported $241.8 million in Roshan Digital Account deposits in February, taking total inflows since 2020 to $12.17 billion.

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has released the latest figures for Roshan Digital Accounts (RDA), showing continued strong support from overseas Pakistanis.

According to the report, deposits worth $241.8 million were made into RDAs during February 2026, reflecting a monthly increase of $25.6 million. Since the program began in September 2020, total inflows have reached $12.17 billion.

The data also showed that $146.7 million was used within Pakistan in February, while profits of $21.3 million were sent back abroad. At the same time, outstanding liabilities under the RDA scheme stood at $73.8 million.

The SBP further highlighted that $1.6 billion has been deposited in RDAs during the first eight months of the current fiscal year, indicating steady interest from overseas Pakistanis.

In February alone, 7,643 new accounts were opened, bringing the total number of active Roshan Digital Accounts to 909,407. The RDA initiative has become a popular way for Pakistanis living abroad to invest in Pakistan, access banking services, and support the country’s economy.

The State Bank emphasized that the steady inflows and growing number of accounts demonstrate confidence in Pakistan’s financial system and the continued commitment of overseas Pakistanis to contribute to the country’s development. The RDA program remains a key channel for investment, remittances, and economic engagement with Pakistan from around the world.
