Punjab Police Special Branch jobs announced

The Punjab Public Service Commission has announced 30 vacancies under PPSC jobs 2026, through PPSC Advertisement 11/2026. The positions are offered in Basic Pay Scale (BS-14).

The Punjab Police jobs will initially be offered on a two-year contract, which may be extended. Selected candidates can be posted anywhere in Punjab.

The Intelligence Officer jobs are part of the Special Branch Punjab Police, where candidates must meet the required education, experience and age conditions.

Who can apply for these jobs?

Applicants can qualify through either of two routes.

The first requires a graduation degree with at least second division from a university recognised by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). Candidates must also have basic computer knowledge.

The second route is for graduates with at least five years of experience in the Intelligence Wing of a law-enforcement agency. Only experience gained after obtaining the required qualification will be accepted.

People interested in Punjab Police jobs should review the official advertisement to ensure they meet all conditions before applying.

Age limit for male and female candidates

Male candidates must be between 21 and 35 years old. A general age relaxation of five years increases the maximum age to 40.

Female applicants have the same basic age range, with an eight-year relaxation taking the maximum age to 43.

For transgender candidates, age and gender will be determined according to their Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) records.

Applicants for Intelligence Officer jobs must also fulfil the other conditions listed by the commission.
