Pakistan Railways has issued a train schedule update for passengers traveling from Lahore and Faisalabad to Karachi, Quetta, Rawalpindi and other cities, announcing adjustments to several services while confirming that most trains are operating as scheduled.
Railway authorities said the changes were made to ensure smoother travel arrangements for passengers affected by operational adjustments.
Karachi Express Passengers Shifted to Pak Business Express
According to officials, passengers of Karachi Express (16-Down) will be accommodated on Pak Business Express (34-Down) for today’s journey.
The Pak Business Express (34-Down), which normally departs from Lahore at 4:30 PM for Karachi, will leave with a delay of one hour and 30 minutes, departing at 6:00 PM instead.
Railway officials stated that the arrangement was made to ensure that Karachi-bound passengers face minimal disruption.

Millat Express Passengers Moved to Karakoram Express
Passengers traveling on Millat Express (18-Down) have been accommodated on Karakoram Express (42-Down).
The Karakoram Express (42-Down) will depart from Lahore at its scheduled time of 3:00 PM. The train will then leave Faisalabad at 5:35 PM for Karachi, continuing its route toward southern destinations.
Authorities emphasized that passengers should follow the updated boarding instructions to avoid confusion.
Other Train Services Operating Normally
Pakistan Railways confirmed that all other trains departing from Lahore and Faisalabad toward Karachi, Quetta, Rawalpindi and other cities are running according to their regular schedules.
Passengers are advised to check updated train timings and platform information before arriving at railway stations to ensure a smooth travel experience.
Railway officials added that operational updates may occasionally occur due to logistical adjustments, but steps are taken to ensure passengers are accommodated on alternative services whenever necessary.
