Online Hajj registrations cross 232,000 in two weeks
More than 232,000 Pakistanis have completed their online Hajj registration within just two weeks, marking another major milestone in the country’s digital transformation. The Ministry of Religious Affairs said thousands of intending pilgrims completed the process from home within minutes.
According to the ministry, online registration for Hajj from 2027 to 2030 remains open. People can continue submitting their applications through the official Pak Hajj mobile application and the online registration portal.
Officials said the Pak Hajj app and online portal, developed by the National IT Board, have made the registration process easier, faster, and more convenient. Pilgrims no longer need to visit government offices to complete the initial registration.
Official figures showed that more than 175,000 applicants registered under the government Hajj scheme, while over 58,000 opted for the private Hajj scheme.

The ministry also said that 136,000 registered applicants are men, while 96,000 are women, reflecting strong participation from both genders.
Officials confirmed that online registration for Hajj 2027–2030 will continue until further instructions are issued. They advised intending pilgrims to complete their registration as early as possible to avoid any last-minute rush.
The ministry said the growing number of online registrations reflects increasing public confidence in Pakistan’s digital services and the government’s efforts to simplify the Hajj registration process.
