Peshawar (Web Desk): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi sets a three-month deadline to improve services in the merged districts, ordering faster development, better education and healthcare.

Sohail Afridi has directed the provincial administration to significantly improve public services in the merged districts within the next three months. He said residents should witness clear and practical improvements in governance, education, healthcare and development during this period.

The directives were issued during a review meeting chaired by the chief minister to assess the law and order situation, governance, development programmes and public services in the merged districts. Officials also reviewed progress on education, healthcare and ongoing development projects.

Sohail Afridi instructed authorities to resume development work in North Waziristan within one week. He ordered the immediate deployment of the required officers and staff so that development projects could restart without further delay.

The chief minister also ordered special measures to bring out-of-school children back into classrooms across the merged districts. He said funds have already been allocated for this initiative in the current fiscal year’s budget and directed officials to address the shortage of teachers on an emergency basis.
