NADRA opens new mega centre in Karachi's Surjani
Sindh Governor Syed Nihal Hashmi inaugurated a new NADRA Mega Centre in Karachi’s Surjani area to improve identity registration and documentation services for residents. The new facility is expected to make public services faster, easier and more accessible for people living in Surjani and nearby neighbourhoods.
According to NADRA officials, the mega centre has been designed to provide multiple services under one roof. It includes 20 one-window counters where citizens can complete various NADRA-related procedures without visiting multiple offices.
Special service counters have also been established for senior citizens and persons with disabilities to ensure they receive quicker and more convenient assistance.
The centre features a spacious waiting area with seating capacity for 200 people at a time. Officials stated that the facility will remain operational 24 hours a day and will be able to serve more than 2,000 applicants daily.

The new mega centre is expected to benefit millions of people living in Surjani and the surrounding areas by providing all major NADRA services at a single location.
Officials also stated that the facility features a NADRA zonal office, enabling residents to complete various official matters locally without needing to travel to the NADRA office in Ayesha Manzil.
The project is part of NADRA’s ongoing efforts to improve public services, reduce waiting times, and make identity registration more convenient for citizens across Pakistan.
