Online Hajj registrations cross 200,000 in first 11 days
More than 200,000 people have completed their Hajj 2027 registration during the first 11 days of the registration process, reflecting a strong response from intending pilgrims across Pakistan.
According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, more than 180,000 applicants completed their registration through the official online portal, while another 24,000 used the ministry’s mobile application to register from home.
The ministry said more than 154,000 applicants selected the government Hajj scheme, while around 49,000 opted for the private Hajj scheme.
Punjab recorded the highest number of registrations, with more than 95,000 applicants. Sindh followed with 63,000 registrations, while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa recorded 28,000 applicants. Islamabad accounted for around 9,000 registrations.

According to the ministry, about 5,500 people registered from Balochistan, while 1,200 applicants came from Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Gilgit-Baltistan recorded around 600 registrations.
Official figures also showed that 119,000 men and more than 84,500 women have completed their Hajj 2027 registration so far.
The ministry said the registration process is continuing, and more applications are expected in the coming days as intending pilgrims complete the required formalities before the registration deadline.
