The revised fuel prices have been approved following recommendations by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), which periodically reviews petroleum prices based on international oil market trends and other relevant pricing factors.
The Petroleum Division said the new prices came into effect from 12am and will remain in force until the next scheduled fuel price review.
The latest revision provides limited relief to petrol users. However, transporters, businesses and industries that rely on diesel are expected to face higher operating costs due to the increase in diesel prices.
