Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has officially launched the Negahban ATM Card program under the Rs 40 billion Ramzan relief package, aiming to support over 4 million families across Punjab during the holy month.

Rs 10000 relief for millions of families

Under the program, each eligible family will receive Rs 10000 to help manage essential expenses during Ramzan. The chief minister announced that the initiative is designed to ensure financial assistance reaches deserving families with dignity, ease, and full transparency.

She shared that the entire system is fully digital, eliminating long queues and complicated procedures. The program is being managed by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), ensuring secure and transparent delivery of funds.

How beneficiaries can withdraw money

Beneficiaries can withdraw their Rs 10000 through Negahban ATM Cards from 160 district centers established across the province. In addition, more than 20000 branchless banking agents, including services linked with Bank of Punjab, HBL Konnect, AlfaPay, and UBL Omni, are facilitating easy access to funds.

Citizens can also seek assistance or file complaints through the dedicated helpline 08000 2345.

Alongside financial relief, the Punjab government has launched the ‘Talk to CM’ digital portal to encourage youth participation in governance. Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said the platform allows young people to share feedback, ideas, and suggestions directly with the government.
