Maryam Nawaz invites overseas Pakistanis as Lahore ready for Basant 2027
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced that Basant 2027 will be celebrated in Lahore on March 12, 13 and 14. The festival is expected to bring back the cityβs festive atmosphere with music, cultural activities and other events.
Lahore prepares for a colourful return
Maryam Nawaz said Lahore will once again become a centre of colours, culture and celebrations after the success of Basant 2026. She said the 2027 event will include music, cultural activities and other programmes for visitors.
She also invited young people from Punjab and across Pakistan to take part in Basant 2027. She encouraged them to come together, make memories and bring fresh energy to Lahore.
Invitation for overseas Pakistanis
The Punjab chief minister also invited overseas Pakistanis and international guests to attend Basant Lahore 2027. She asked them to mark March 12, 13 and 14 on their calendars and plan their visit accordingly.
