Maryam Nawaz announces major relief for 150cc motorcycle owners
The new Punjab 150cc motorcycle relief initiative was approved by Maryam Nawaz Sharif as part of the government’s broader effort to reduce financial pressure on citizens facing inflation and rising transport costs.
Under the latest policy, the 150cc motorcycle transfer fee has officially been abolished, allowing citizens to transfer ownership of eligible motorcycles without paying extra charges.
Officials said the Maryam Nawaz motorcycle policy is specially designed to support middle and low-income families who rely heavily on motorcycles for daily commuting and work-related travel.
The government believes motorcycles remain the most affordable mode of transport for workers, students, delivery riders, and small business owners throughout Punjab.
