Mandatory M-Tag deadline announced for all drivers
Under the new mandatory M-Tag Pakistan policy, all vehicles traveling on motorways will be required to use an M-Tag from June 15, 2026.
One Network has advised drivers to complete the M-Tag registration 2026 process as soon as possible to avoid inconvenience during travel.
According to the company, the upcoming motorway M-Tag deadline is part of efforts to improve toll collection and traffic management.
The latest Pakistan motorway travel rules will apply nationwide and are expected to affect thousands of motorists.
The announcement follows an earlier advisory regarding old tags. One Network had allowed motorists to replace M-Tags older than five years free of cost until May 31. However, the free replacement period has now ended.
Under the updated One Network M-Tag policy, motorists must pay Rs150 to replace an M-Tag that is more than five years old. Officials have also warned that old tags will be blocked from July 1 if they are not replaced before the deadline.
