LESCO announces power shutdown in Lahore
The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has announced a six-hour power shutdown in parts of Lahore. The outage is linked to essential work being carried out under the Data Darbar and Kacheri Road projects.
Electricity to remain suspended from 8am
According to LESCO, the Urdu Bazaar and Kacheri Road feeders connected to the Bhatti Gate Grid Station will remain suspended from 8am to 2pm. Consumers in areas supplied by these feeders may face an electricity interruption during the scheduled period.
Work linked to two major projects
LESCO said the temporary shutdown is necessary to facilitate ongoing work under the Data Darbar and Kacheri Road projects. The company has asked residents and businesses to complete important electricity-related tasks before the scheduled outage.
Consumers have also been advised to make alternative power arrangements if needed. This could help households and businesses manage essential activities during the six-hour shutdown.
LESCO promises restoration after work
LESCO said electricity supply will be restored after the required work is completed. The company has urged consumers to cooperate with the scheduled outage and plan their activities accordingly.
The planned shutdown may affect daily routines in the areas connected to the affected feeders. Consumers are advised to prepare in advance to avoid disruption during the outage.
The shutdown is linked to development and maintenance work under two ongoing projects. Timely completion of the work could allow LESCO to restore electricity as planned.
