Lahore Traffic Police launches special Sunday service for rickshaw drivers

Under the new initiative, rickshaw drivers Lahore can visit the Manawan Licensing Centre every Sunday between 8am and 4pm to apply for a driving licence Lahore.

Dedicated counters and arrangements have been established to facilitate applicants and speed up the process.

According to officials, the Lahore Traffic Police introduced the service to help drivers who often struggle to visit licensing centres during regular working days.

The City Traffic Police Lahore says the initiative is also aimed at improving road safety and traffic discipline.

Chief Traffic Officer Syed Abdul Rahim Shirazi said the Lahore Traffic Police wants drivers to understand traffic laws, road safety measures, and responsible driving practices. He noted that licensed drivers are better equipped to follow regulations and contribute to safer roads.
