LAHORE (Web Desk): HEC employee, family ‘kidnapped’ from Lahore Railway Station as police launch investigation into their disappearance.

Police have registered a case regarding the alleged kidnapping of a Higher Education Department employee and his family after they reportedly went missing from Lahore Railway Station while preparing to travel to their hometown.

According to the First Information Report (FIR), Hafiz Zeeshan, who works as a messenger in the Higher Education Department in Islamabad, allegedly disappeared along with his wife and two young children from Lahore Railway Station on June 2. The case was registered at Naulakha Police Station on June 4 after repeated efforts to trace the family failed to produce any information about their whereabouts.

According to the complaint, Hafiz Zeeshan is a resident of Haripur and had arrived at the railway station with his family to travel back home after visiting relatives in Lahore. The family included his wife, his two-year-old son Zaviar, and his six-year-old child Zorain. The FIR states that they were present at the railway station when the alleged incident took place.

Before reaching the railway station, the family had visited Zeeshan’s in-laws in Lahore’s Shah Di Khui area. After completing the visit, they proceeded towards the station to begin their journey to Haripur. However, according to the complainant, the family disappeared before they could board their transport and return home.

The complainant stated that several days had passed since the incident, but no information had been received regarding the whereabouts of Hafiz Zeeshan, his wife, or their children. Family members and relatives were contacted, and all possible efforts were made to locate them. However, no one was able to provide any information about the missing family.

The complainant has urged senior police officials and relevant authorities to take immediate steps for the recovery of Hafiz Zeeshan and his family. Police have launched an investigation and are examining all possible aspects of the case to determine what happened to the missing family.
