The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has announced its official gas supply schedule for Karachi and surrounding areas during Ramazan 2026, ensuring consumers have access during Sehri and Iftar hours.

According to SSGC, gas will be supplied from 3:00 AM to 9:00 AM for Sehri and 3:30 PM to 10:00 PM for Iftar. Outside these hours, supply will be temporarily suspended to manage overall network demand.

The utility explained that gas pressure profiling will be conducted daily from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM and 10:00 PM to 3:00 AM to optimize pressure and prevent shortages. SSGC also highlighted that Pakistan’s gas reserves are decreasing by roughly 10 percent annually, widening the supply-demand gap.

The revised timings aim to facilitate households during critical meal preparation periods while ensuring equitable distribution of gas across Karachi and nearby areas. SSGC urged consumers to plan their gas usage according to the new schedule to avoid inconvenience.
