The Punjab government has officially issued a notification announcing three holidays for Eidul Fitr. According to the notification, public holidays will be observed on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday across the province.
At the same time, the Balochistan government has also declared a public holiday on Thursday across the province. Officials said that all public and private offices will remain closed on that day.

With these announcements, government employees in Punjab and Balochistan are expected to enjoy a total of five holidays. The break will start from Thursday and continue till Saturday, followed by the regular Sunday holiday.
In addition, there will be another holiday on March 23 for Pakistan Day, further extending the break.
Earlier, the federal government had announced two Eidul Fitr holidays on Friday and Saturday. These holidays will apply to both five-day and six-day working offices.

As a result, federal government employees will also get four holidays, including Sunday and the Pakistan Day holiday.
This long break will make people happy. Many will travel to meet family. Offices will remain closed for several days. It may also increase rush on roads and markets.
