The Finance Division has decided to provide major relief to its budget-related employees by proposing a one-month salary bonus.

According to details, a formal summary has been prepared to grant one month’s basic salary as a bonus to staff working in the budget wing of the Finance Ministry. The proposal has been forwarded by the Finance Secretary for further approval.

Officials said the move is aimed at recognizing the efforts of employees involved in the preparation and management of the federal budget, which is considered one of the most sensitive and workload-intensive assignments in the ministry.

Sources added that once approved, the decision will provide immediate financial relief to eligible employees, and it is being viewed internally as a positive step towards employee welfare.

The development has created a sense of satisfaction among staff members, who have welcomed the proposal as a significant financial incentive amid rising living costs.

Government sources indicated that the summary is currently under review and will be processed through the relevant approval channels before final implementation.
