ISLAMABAD (Web Desk): On Eid Miladun Nabi, PM Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari urged Pakistanis to follow the Holy Prophet’s teachings and promote justice, peace, tolerance and service to humanity.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have urged the nation to take guidance from the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) on Eid Miladun Nabi.

In separate messages, both leaders congratulated Pakistanis and Muslims around the world on the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

They stressed that the teachings of the Holy Prophet provide guidance on compassion, justice, tolerance, unity and service to others.

The leaders also called on people to apply these principles in their daily lives and contribute to a peaceful and prosperous Pakistan.

President Zardari stresses justice and tolerance

President Asif Ali Zardari said Eid Miladun Nabi was an important reminder of the values taught by the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

He said these teachings should not remain limited to celebrations but should also be reflected in society and individual behaviour.

“It is incumbent upon us to practically promote justice and fairness, tolerance, inter-sectarian and interfaith harmony, and the protection of human dignity in our society,” the president said.

He described the birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) as a great blessing from Allah Almighty.

According to the president, the occasion reminds humanity of a path based on faith, guidance, justice, mercy and good character.

He encouraged the nation to strengthen these values in society and promote respect and harmony among people from different communities.

The message also highlighted the importance of protecting human dignity and encouraging peaceful relations.

PM Shehbaz calls for following Islamic guidance

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also urged the nation to use the occasion to reflect on the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

He said Pakistan faces economic, social and moral challenges that require collective efforts and stronger values.

The prime minister said that people should shape their personal and collective lives according to Islamic guidance.

He also called for efforts to build Pakistan into a strong, prosperous, peaceful and welfare-oriented state.

In a separate message shared on X, PM Shehbaz said the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) remain a source of guidance for humanity.

He highlighted compassion, justice, tolerance, unity and service to others as important principles.

“The life and teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) remain an eternal source of guidance for all humanity, calling us towards compassion, justice, tolerance, unity and service to others,” he said.

Call for a peaceful and prosperous Pakistan

The prime minister also urged people to make the teachings of Seeratun Nabi part of their character and daily conduct.

“Let us pledge to illuminate our character and collective conduct with the light of Seeratun Nabi and work together for a peaceful, and prosperous Pakistan,” he said.

His message focused on the need for unity and collective responsibility at a time when the country faces several social and economic challenges.

The call also placed emphasis on service to others rather than focusing only on individual interests.

Eid Miladun Nabi observed around the world
