Camel’s eyes gouged out in brutal attack in Tharparkar
In Baghal Rand village of Tharparkar, residents reported a disturbing incident where a camel was severely tortured. Locals say unknown attackers carried out the brutal act, causing panic in the area. The case has quickly become a major concern in the region.
The camel owner, Sarang, along with women and children from his family, held a protest outside the Chachro Press Club.
He accused powerful individuals from a nearby village of being involved in the attack. He also said that his family is poor and is now facing threats from the suspects.
The protesters demanded a fair investigation and strict punishment for those responsible. They said such cruelty should not be ignored and urged authorities to take immediate action. The incident has created fear among other villagers as well.
Officials have taken notice of the situation. The Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, ordered a report from the DIG Mirpurkhas. He also directed police to take strong action against the accused individuals without delay.

Authorities also confirmed that veterinary teams have been instructed to provide medical treatment to the injured animal.
Officials said that cruelty against animals is unacceptable and will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Police teams have started collecting evidence and recording statements from the affected family and witnesses. Security has also been increased in nearby areas to avoid further tension.
