The Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) has officially announced an increase in the Benazir Kafalat Program stipend, offering financial relief to low-income families across Pakistan.
BISP Chairperson Senator Rubina Khalid shared the update in a special video message addressed to program beneficiaries. She confirmed that starting from the current quarterly payment cycle, the Benazir Kafalat stipend has been increased from Rs13,500 to Rs14,500.
Beneficiaries have been advised to count and verify the full amount of Rs14,500 when receiving their installment to ensure no deductions are made.
Financial Relief for BISP Beneficiaries
The increase in payments aims to support economically vulnerable families who rely on the BISP Kafalat program for basic living expenses.
The Benazir Kafalat initiative, one of Pakistan’s largest social welfare programs, provides quarterly cash assistance to millions of registered women beneficiaries to help manage rising living costs.
Officials say the payment increase reflects the government’s efforts to strengthen social protection and reduce financial pressure on low-income households.

How to File a Complaint for Deducted Payments
BISP authorities have also provided a clear procedure for beneficiaries who receive less than the official stipend amount.
If a beneficiary notices any deduction in their payment, they can file a complaint through the following steps:
1. Visit the nearest BISP Tehsil Office.
2. Inform the Assistant Director or relevant officer about the deduction.
3. Request and fill out the Complaint for Misappropriation Form.
4. Provide details including:
o Full name
o CNIC number
o Mobile number
o Payment collection location
o Details of the deduction
After submission, authorities will investigate the complaint. If the claim is verified, legal action will be taken against the responsible payment agent, and the deducted amount will be returned to the beneficiary.
BISP Helpline for Complaints
Beneficiaries can also register complaints or seek guidance through the BISP helpline at 0800-26477.
Before visiting the Tehsil office to submit a complaint, applicants should bring their original CNIC and registered mobile number. Those who cannot fill out the complaint form themselves can request assistance from the BISP office staff.

The Benazir Kafalat Program, part of the Benazir Income Support Program, remains one of Pakistan’s key initiatives for poverty alleviation and social welfare.
The latest increase in stipend payments highlights ongoing government efforts to expand financial support for vulnerable communities amid rising economic challenges.
