KARACHI (Web Desk): Acid traces are reportedly found in young trader Mir Raza’s stomach as police detain 21 people, including friends and business partners, while investigating his death.

Acid evidence raises new questions

According to sources, traces of acid were reportedly detected in Mir Raza’s stomach.

Sources also claimed that his lungs were severely affected by acid, while signs indicating the presence of acid were reportedly found on his hands and feet. Another significant detail under investigation is the reported discovery of acid traces and another person’s sweat on his shirt.

These findings have raised new questions about what happened before Mir Raza’s death. However, the reported forensic findings still need to be examined by investigators and relevant authorities before any conclusion can be reached.

21 people detained so far

Police have detained 21 people as part of the investigation, according to sources.

The group reportedly includes people who knew Mir Raza personally, including some of his friends and business partners. Investigators have recorded their statements and are examining their possible links to the events surrounding his death.

The questioning is aimed at determining who last contacted Mir Raza, where he went before his death, and whether anyone had information about his movements. Police are also expected to compare the statements of those detained with other evidence collected during the investigation.

Guest house sealed for investigation

Investigators have reportedly focused their attention on a guest house located near the area connected to the incident.

The guest house has been sealed after police declared it suspicious, according to sources. Six people working at the guest house have also been taken into custody for questioning.

Investigators are expected to examine the premises and available evidence to determine whether the location has any connection with the case. The questioning of the workers could also help police establish who visited the facility and whether anything unusual happened there.

CCTV and other evidence are being examined

Police are expected to examine CCTV recordings and other available evidence as they try to reconstruct the events leading to Mir Raza’s death.

Investigators can use footage from roads, businesses, and nearby locations to track movements and identify people who may have come into contact with him. The investigation will also involve comparing CCTV evidence with statements recorded from the detained individuals.

Such evidence could help authorities establish a timeline and determine whether the people being questioned were present at relevant locations. Recent reports have also indicated that police were examining different possible motives and collecting evidence in the case.

Family rejects judicial commission

Meanwhile, the Sindh government has decided to form a judicial commission to investigate the circumstances surrounding Mir Raza’s death.

The move is aimed at examining the case and determining the facts surrounding the incident. However, Mir Raza’s parents have reportedly refused to accept the formation of a judicial commission.

The family has continued to seek answers about the circumstances surrounding his death and wants those responsible to be identified. The disagreement over the commission adds another dimension to the case as police and other authorities continue their investigation.

Questions investigators need to answer

Several questions remain unanswered as the investigation moves forward.

Police need to determine how Mir Raza died, who was involved and whether the reported acid evidence is connected to the circumstances of his death. Investigators also need to establish why the suspects, if any, may have targeted him and whether there was any prior planning involved.

The identities and roles of the 21 people detained will also become clearer as police examine their statements and compare them with other evidence. At this stage, detention does not by itself establish guilt, and any allegations against individuals must be proven through the investigation and legal process.

What happens next?

The investigation is expected to focus on forensic evidence, CCTV footage, witness statements, and information obtained during questioning. Police will also examine the suspicious guest house and the people working there to determine whether the location is relevant to the case.

The reported forensic findings could play an important role in establishing the circumstances surrounding Mir Raza’s death. Authorities are expected to provide further details as the investigation progresses.
