The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced new career opportunities for experienced network professionals, inviting applications for senior technical roles within its Network Operations domain.

The latest recruitment drive targets skilled engineers who can support and strengthen NADRA’s nationwide digital and data infrastructure, a critical backbone for Pakistan’s identity and registration systems.

Positions announced

NADRA is hiring for two key posts at the Assistant Director level.

The first position, Assistant Director (Network Engineer – Core Networks), focuses on managing and operating core switching environments. The role involves working with advanced switching technologies, Software Defined Networking (SDN), and modern data center architectures. Selected candidates will be responsible for configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining technical documentation and standard operating procedures in a 24/7 operational setup.

The second role, Assistant Director (Network Engineer – Routing & Switching), is aimed at professionals with hands-on experience in enterprise networks. Responsibilities include managing routing and switching across multi-vendor environments, handling firewall policies, VPNs, and network security controls, as well as performance monitoring and documentation to ensure secure and resilient operations.

Location and deadline

Both positions are based in Islamabad, offering professionals the opportunity to work at NADRA’s core operational hub. The deadline for submitting online applications is January 18, 2026.
