KARACHI (Web Desk): The Sindh government has formally allowed Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) to organise a public rally in Karachi.

The PTI has received conditional approval to hold the gathering rally in the city, as authorities set strict rules to ensure law and order and public safety. An official permission letter has been issued by the Deputy Commissioner Karachi East, listing several important conditions for the event.

Senior Sindh Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon confirmed the decision and said PTI is allowed to carry out political activities in Sindh within constitutional and legal limits. He stressed that full compliance with government instructions during the rally will be mandatory.

He said the organisers will be fully responsible for maintaining peace and order throughout the event. According to the notification, any form of provocative speeches, hate material, sectarian remarks, or statements against state institutions will not be allowed.

The notification also warns that the rally permission can be cancelled if any laws are violated. Authorities have made it clear that strict action will follow in case of non compliance.

Sharjeel Inam Memon added that organisers must ensure smooth traffic flow during the rally so that citizens do not face inconvenience. He said the event must end before the assigned time.

The district administration has also been given full authority to cancel the rally permission at any stage due to security concerns. The Sindh government said these measures are aimed at protecting lives, property, and peace in the city.

Officials said all political parties are free to operate within constitutional limits, but no violation of the law will be tolerated.

The decision shows a balance between political freedom and security. Strict conditions reflect concerns over law and order in Karachi. How PTI follows these rules may shape future rally permissions.
