PM Youth Chromebook Scheme merit list of eligible students released
The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has announced the scheme for students of its affiliated government schools who performed well in the 2026 annual examinations. Students from both Science and General groups will be able to benefit from the programme.
Merit list published on official website
According to the board, the merit list of all eligible students has been published on its official website. The announcement was made through a press release issued on November 5.
Students can visit the official BSEK Chromebook Scheme portal to check their names and selection status. They can also confirm whether they have been selected to receive a Chromebook under the programme.
Students from science and general groups included
The scheme covers talented students from both Science and General groups. It aims to reward students who achieved good results in the 2026 annual examinations.
Students from government schools affiliated with the Karachi Matriculation Board are eligible under the announced programme. Their names have been included in the merit list according to the board’s selection process.
Online registration is compulsory
Board officials have clarified that appearing on the merit list does not complete the selection process. Students whose names appear on the list must also complete their online registration through the Prime Minister Youth Chromebook Scheme portal.
Without completing this registration, students may not be able to receive their Chromebooks. Therefore, selected students should carefully follow the registration instructions.
Board urges students to act quickly
The Karachi Matriculation Board has advised all eligible students to check the merit list without delay. It has also asked them to complete the online registration as soon as possible to secure their Chromebooks under the scheme.
Students should make sure that their names and selection details are correct before completing the process. They should also follow the official portal for further instructions.
The Chromebook scheme is an opportunity for talented students to receive digital learning support. However, students should remember that selection on the merit list is not the final step.
Completing online registration is equally important. Students who delay the process may face difficulties in receiving their devices.
