The Finance Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has issued an official notification confirming that full salaries and pensions for March will be paid before Eid. Employees will receive their payments on 16 March, instead of the usual 1 April, ensuring timely financial support for Eid preparations.
Earlier, the Punjab government also announced the early release of salaries and pensions. According to Punjab’s Finance Department, all Muslim government employees will receive their salaries on 16 March 2026, and pensions will be disbursed on the same date.
The decision aims to provide civil servants and pensioners with much-needed financial relief during Eid-al-Fitr 2026.
