ISLAMABAD: (Suno News) An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Rawalpindi has confirmed the bail of 20 to 25 accused including Shibli Faraz, Raja Basharat, Zartaj Gul, and Zain Qureshi of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the May 9 cases.

ATC judge Malik Ejaz Asif heard the May 9 cases. More than 500 accused appeared in the court. The attendance of all the accused nominated in the May 9 cases was marked.

The court approved the plea of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur for exemption from appearance and ordered him to appear at the next hearing on May 29.

The next hearing of May 9 cases will be held in Adiala Jail.

After the court hearing, PTI MNA Zartaj Gul while talking to the media said an apology should be sought from the PTI founder, adding he is fighting Pakistan’s case from jail.

“A political party can hold talks,” she said and added the judges said their videos were made secretly.

“Cases were registered against everyone,” she said and added, “It’s good if the PTI founder writes a letter to the army chief. Imran Khan believes in institutions.”
