The move signals Pakistan’s total readiness to defend its people and respond powerfully to the aggression.

As part of the emergency measures, all government and private educational institutions in Punjab are closed today; all exams scheduled for the day have been postponed; hospitals have been placed on red alert; and all doctors, nurses, and staff leave has been canceled and they’ve been ordered to report to duty immediately.

This decisive action shows that Punjab is on full alert and fully prepared for any crisis.

In a strong and emotional message to the nation, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said, “Defending every inch of Pakistan is our faith. The enemy will receive an answer so strong, they’ll never dare such a move again.”

She also called on all Pakistanis to unite in the face of aggression, emphasizing that every citizen has a role to play in defending the homeland.

Punjab Police, Special Branch, and all intelligence and security agencies have been placed on high alert. Every district administration and civil defense unit has been told to be ready to act swiftly in case of any emergency.

This response from Punjab comes just hours after India’s disgraceful attack on Pakistani cities, where innocent civilians and religious sites were targeted. The world watched in shock as India violated international laws and basic human rights, launching missile strikes under the cover of darkness.

CM Maryam Nawaz didn’t hold back in her condemnation of India, saying:  “This cowardly act will not go unanswered. The entire Pakistani nation stands shoulder-to-shoulder with its armed forces. We are united, strong, and ready.”

As India hides behind aggression, Pakistan stands tall — united, fearless, and ready. With leadership like Maryam Nawaz on the frontlines and the military guarding every inch of the nation, the enemy has every reason to worry.
