Punjab Housing Minister Bilal Yasin says that to ensure transparency, scrutiny committees have been formed in all districts, which will be headed by the deputy commissioners of the respective districts. These committees will submit their reports within a month so that the selection of deserving persons can be made as soon as possible.
The Housing Minister further said that the lucky families who will be allotted plots will also be able to obtain interest-free loans of up to Rs1.5 million with the support of the Punjab government, so that they can build their own houses.
On the other hand, this good initiative of the Punjab government is being appreciated by the public, as it is a golden opportunity for low-income class to get housing facilities.
