The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA), in collaboration with Punjab Police and the traffic department, has rolled out a new digital service allowing people to file complaints against wrongly issued e-challans. This system is now active across all major cities in Punjab, not just in Lahore.
Using this new online system, anyone who receives an e-challan they believe is incorrect can log in, submit evidence (like pictures or documents), and file a dispute without needing to visit a police station.
Traffic officers and wardens across the province now also have access to a mobile app that lets them check for outstanding fines in real-time. If someone hasn’t paid their e-challan, they can be stopped and fined on the spot.

The system has already helped collect over Rs. 108 million in traffic fines in just two months. But more importantly, it gives honest citizens a way to correct mistakes, like wrong car numbers or locations, which were hard to fix before.
The government has advised all drivers to clear pending e-challans before applying for new licenses or renewing existing ones. The NDMA and Punjab Police have asked the public to use the system responsibly and avoid unnecessary disputes.
This digital step not only saves time but it brings fairness to everyday drivers across Punjab.
