As per LESCO announced load shedding schedule, the company will cut electricity for six to eight hours daily starting October15.

According to an official statement, power supply will remain suspended between 7:00 AM and 2:00 PM in selected areas while teams carry out system improvements.

During the maintenance period, LESCO will switch off several grid stations and 11 kV feeders to safely perform technical upgrades. Crews will trim trees near power lines, upgrade transformers, and replace weak cables and jumper connections to strengthen the overall distribution network.

A LESCO spokesperson said these development efforts are part of a long-term plan to enhance the city’s power infrastructure and ensure greater reliability. The company assured consumers that once the upgradation is complete, electricity supply will become more stable and efficient.

Residents are advised to stay informed about the local outage schedule and make necessary arrangements to minimize inconvenience during the maintenance period.
