Rawalpindi (Web Desk): Six Indian-sponsored terrorists killed in Panjgur operation as security forces recover weapons and explosives, says ISPR.

Security forces have killed six Indian-sponsored terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Panjgur district of Balochistan, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The military’s media wing said the operation was conducted between June 3 and 4 following reports about the presence of terrorists belonging to the Indian proxy group “Fitna al Hindustan” in the area.

During the operation, security forces effectively engaged multiple terrorist hideouts. After an intense exchange of fire, six terrorists were killed.

According to the ISPR, weapons, ammunition, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and a vehicle were recovered from the slain terrorists. The militants were allegedly involved in numerous terrorist activities in the region.

The military said sanitization operations are continuing to eliminate any remaining Indian-sponsored terrorists and ensure the area is fully cleared. In a statement, the ISPR said the counterterrorism campaign under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam,” approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan, will continue at full pace.
