Meanwhile, the metro bus service has been partially suspended. It is not operating between PIMS Station and Pak Secretariat, while services continue between Saddar Station and Kachehri.
International media reports suggest that the next round of talks between the US and Iran could take place in Islamabad very soon. Some reports indicate that senior US officials may travel to Pakistan to restart dialogue.
The White House has also acknowledged Pakistan’s role, calling it a key mediator in the ongoing efforts between Washington and Tehran. Officials said Pakistan has helped maintain communication when tensions were high.
