At least 13 militants were killed in two separate operations carried out by security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as part of an ongoing crackdown against terrorism.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the first intelligence-based operation was conducted in the Bara area of Khyber district. During an intense exchange of fire, security forces successfully neutralized 10 militants. Their hideouts were also destroyed, dealing a significant blow to their network in the region.
In a separate operation in Bannu district, security forces killed three more militants. Authorities confirmed that clearance operations are still ongoing to eliminate any remaining threats in the area and to ensure long-term stability.
The ISPR stated that these operations are part of the broader counter-terrorism campaign under “Azm-e-Istehkam.” The military reaffirmed its commitment to eradicating terrorism, especially groups backed by foreign elements, and ensuring peace across the country.
