LHC revises Punjab courts’ winter timings until March 2027

The new hours will remain in effect until March 31, 2027.

New schedule for winter season

The Lahore High Court has revised working hours for civil and sessions courts across Punjab. The change is intended to adjust court operations during the winter months.

Court hours from Monday to Thursday

Under the new schedule, courts will operate from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm from Monday to Thursday. These timings will apply to civil and sessions courts across the province.

Shorter working hours on Fridays

On Fridays, court proceedings will end at 1:00 pm under the revised schedule. This means courts will close earlier on Fridays than on the other working days.

Timings to remain in place until March 2027

The new schedule will take effect on November 1, 2026, and continue until March 31, 2027. The revised hours are intended to accommodate seasonal changes in working routines during winter.

The updated timings will help courts adjust their daily work schedules for the winter season. Lawyers, litigants and other visitors should check the new hours before visiting court to avoid delays or confusion.
