(Web Desk): A deeply disturbing incident has been reported from Jhang where a first-year student, Ishal Fatima, died at hospital after an alleged gang rape.

The case has sparked nationwide anger and calls for justice. According to reports, the suspects allegedly abducted and assaulted the girl before leaving her in critical condition at a hospital and fleeing the scene.

Police later traced and arrested three suspects named Umesh Jogi, Haseeb, and Hassan using CCTV footage.

Authorities said that the victim’s body has been sent for post-mortem examination and forensic evidence has been collected from both the crime scene and hospital. Officials added that DNA and medical reports will help ensure strict punishment.

The victim’s family has demanded swift justice and urged higher authorities to ensure a transparent investigation. They have called for the harshest punishment for all those involved in the crime.
